The Trailer Flex "Smart Lift" for solid down axles is a fuel and tire saving devise that allows you to travel empty with one or more axles in the air. The switch can be in-cab or trailer trailer mounted in case the trailer is used by multiple tractors. In the down position the axle is tied into the mail leveling valve of the trailer to ensure equal load distribution to all axles as required by law. The benefits of having these betters your empty ride along with the improved braking power of the remaining axles on the ground due to having more weight on them.
